It’s always a really special treat for me to be able to photograph couples! As much as I adore doing family photography, it’s really fun to switch it up now and then! Doing a couples portrait session allows for a bit more creativity because, let’s face it, they tend to listen to direction a bit better than your average 3 year old. LOL! But in all seriousness, shooting Brittany and Dan was such a blast. I was and still am in awe of Brittany who toughed out what turned out to be a very cold day in that stunning Fillyboo dress!
We had a small window in which to do this session. Between my schedule and Dan’s work/hockey schedule it was a little tricky to fit this in. But I am SO glad we did! We were supposed to do the session the following day but with the below zero forecast we decided to switch! Oh the joys of Winnipeg fall weather lol. But this meant I had to add them in to an already packed day with a family session and six pet portraits! I did a fundraiser that afternoon for Winnipeg Boxer Rescue (blog post coming soon!) but Brittany and Dan were so gracious about it and were able to meet me after the fundraiser was over.
A huge thank you to Brittany and Dan (and to Keira for connecting us!). You guys are such a beautiful couple and I really had so much fun doing this session! Brittany, thank you for being so sweet and accommodating! You looked absolutely stunning and made my job so so easy!
